IPLT20, Can you guess the winner?
May 8th, 2008venkiThe IPLT20 has certainly lived up to the people’s expectation, we are half way through the tournament and we can see that, things are changing; the teams which initially won are finding it difficult to continue their winning streak. The underdogs are performing well and are beating the top teams, you guessed it right! I am talking about yesterdays match, Mumbai Indians beat the Rajasthan Royals in a convincing way, and it was proved once again that in cricket you can’t predict anything.

Mumbai Indians outsmart Kolkata Knight Riders
April 30th, 2008venkiFinally the Mumbai Indians registered their first win in the IPLT20, it was a convincing victory. It’s always good to see an underdog win and in yesterdays match Mumbai Indians were the underdogs. Of late the Mumbai Indians were in the news for all the wrong reasons and this victory will definitely be a welcome relief for both the team and the master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.

Maga, Just Miss!!!
April 29th, 2008Ajit YagatyYet another victory denied. Royal challengers were so near yet so far. They did put up a good fight against the mighty Chennai Superkings but in vain. I was there, in all flesh and blood, to witness the downfall of the Challengers which on the contrary could have easily been a big upset for the Superkings. The stage was all set by some clean hitting by Ross Taylor and some good pulls and flicks by Wasim Jaffer. The other batsmen could've easily cruised thro' but they simply couldn't join the party.

IPLT20 the tournament so far…
April 24th, 2008venkiWhat a start to the IPLT20, we have only seen 8 matches till now and the statistics are mind blowing, more than 200+ boundaries and 100+ sixes, the bowler in me is saying oh boy “I don’t want to be bowling in IPL.” The game of cricket has reached a new level, players are not judged on their reputation, but on their performance and its crystal clear that the Aussie’s have proven their dominance in this format too.
